Zi-Hao Zhang

Zi-Hao Zhang is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, Taiwan, where he majored in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and his M.S. degree at the University of Florida in 2025. His research focuses on applying Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to generate sonar images for underwater detection, a technique aimed at improving underwater navigation and exploration and the application of foundational models for diver gesture detection for diver-robot teaming.
