Special Topics: Sensor-based Robot Planning
Course Description
Robots and autonomous systems have been developed to help human performing tidious, dangerous, and difficult jobs. Sensors have been taking an important role in these autonomous systems as they can bring information from surrounding environment. Mobile robots are equipped with onboard sensors, and they can navigate through uknown and dynamic environments based on the information from these sensors. In this course, we will investigate how these robotics sensors onboard a mobile robot are used in autonomous systems to achieve given objectives.
